Gini Graham Scott, Ph.D. is a nationally known writer, consultant, speaker, seminar, and workshop leader, specializing in business and work relationships and professional and personal development. Besides being a sociologist and anthropologist, she is founder and director of Changemakers and Creative Communications & Research, and has had extensive experience in marketing, sales, public relations, promotion, and communications.
She has been involved in direct sales programs for more than 20 years, since 1982. She was a sales group organizer and trainer from 1982 to 1987 and created several direct sales, network marketing, and multi-level marketing organizations for consumer discount programs, travel, food, and health products. Recently, she established the Venture Capital Connection at www.venturecapitalconnection.com to match entrepreneurs seeking capital with venture capitalists interested in funding their type of business. Another business -- the News Media Connection at www.newsmediaconnection.com -- links speakers and anyone with a story to tell to speakers' bureaus and meeting planners.
She received a PhD in Sociology from the University of
California in Berkeley, a JD from the University of
San Francisco Law School, and MAs in Anthropology and
in Mass communications and Organizational, Consumer, and
Audience behavior from California State University, East
Bay. She will be getting an additional MA in Pop
Culture and Lifestyles in 2008. |
