WRITING BOOKS
FOR PUBLISHERS

If you have a book you want written, we can write it for you. Gini Graham Scott writes books under her own name and does some ghostwritten and co-written books.

She can start from a topic you suggest or can help one of your authors, working from notes, tapes, transcripts, a rough draft, or interviews. We can do original research, too. After research is complete, a book can be written in about 4-8 weeks. The project can be provided to you on computer disk (using Word 2003, Publisher 2003, WP12, or ASCII/text), on files sent to you via e-mail, or in manuscript form.

Gini Scott has written the following books as a result of publisher requests:

  • A Survival Guide for Managing the Employee from Hell (AMACOM 2006)

  • A Complete Idiot's Guide to Party Plan Selling (Alpha Books 2005)

  • Homicide: 100 Years of Murder in America (Contemporary Books 1998)

  • You the Jury: A Recovered Memory Case (Seven Locks 1997, with Bill Craig and Mark Roseman)

  • Can We Talk? The Power and Influence of Talk Shows (Plenum 1996)

  • Cheyenne Journey (Seven Locks 1997, ghostwritten)

She has published over 40 books with major national publishers, including Broadway Books, Random House, Prentice Hall, Simon & Schuster, Warner Books, Avon, Pearson, Contemporary, Kensington, and AMACOM. For a complete listing see published books. Her own books are in the fields of popular culture, law, crime, psychology, self-help, personal development, business, work relationships, success, management, and marketing. Four of her books have won first-place awards for non-fiction from the National Federation of Press Women, and one self-help book, THE EMPOWERED MIND from Prentice Hall, was a Book of the Month Club main selection.

As a ghostwriter, she has worked with psychologists, teachers, academics, business/corporate leaders, and professional speakers. She is a member of the American Society of Journalists and Authors, Authors Guild, Northern California Book Publicists, and other organizations. She has a Ph.D. in sociology from the University of California at Berkeley, a J.D. from the University of San Francisco Law School, and M.A.s in Anthropology and Mass Communications and Organizational/Consumer/Audience behavior from Cal State East Bay.
