INVESTIGATIVE EXPERIENCE  AND BOOKS WITH INVESTIGATORS

Gini Graham Scott has assisted a number of private investigators in Northern California on a part-time basis with their investigations. This assistance has included interviewing witnesses and defendants, checking public records, taking photographs, and some surveillance.

She has developed book projects with several investigators. One book has already been published (Private Eyes with Sam Brown) and she has another manuscript based on her experiences as an investigator: PI.  She assisted another author in corrections, Tony Capria, write his book: BETRAYAL, on his battle against a corrections department in upper New York State.

Since January 1999, she has been teaching classes on privacy, psychological profiling, ethics, and confidentiality for the Investigative Career Program in San Francisco.

While in law school, she did investigative research for Consumers Union, where she researched other consumer agencies and the milk, banking, and insurance industries. She also worked as a criminal justice intern at the U.S. Attorney's Office in San Francisco.
