How ethical are you?
How do you compare to others in your approach to ethics?
Find out how you rate on
the dimensions of the Ethical Choices Map. The four dimensions are:
-
your style of choosing
-- intuitive or rational
-
your orientation to
others -- other or self-oriented
-
your philosophy or
values -- moralist or pragmatist
-
your attitude to rules
-- follower or innovator
Each of these dimensions are
like a continuum, and you will fall somewhere along it, based on how you
score on each factor.
You can test yourself with
the Ethical Choices Mapping Instrument
and use the Score Sheet to score yourself.
For more information on
the book Making Ethical Choices,
Resolving Ethical Dilemmas, which includes the Ethical Choices
Mapping Instrument and discusses how people with different ethical approaches
make choices and resolve dilemmas, click for details.
