What the System Is The Ethical Choices Mapping System is a revolutionary new system for understanding ethical approaches, based on mapping ethical choices. It is described in the book MAKING ETHICAL CHOICES, RESOLVING ETHICAL DILEMMAS, published by Paragon House in June 1998. This system for ethics is much like the widely known Myers-Briggs system for personality typing and the Enneagram system for personal traits. It's a way to type yourself and others in how you each make choices, and understanding these dynamics will help you improve your relationships to others and resolve difficult situations. The system can be used by individuals and by organizational leaders and managers in the workplace to improve relationships and deal with conflicts. It will be of special interest to people who work with people, including psychologists, counselors, human resource personnel, group facilitators, teachers, trainers, politicians, and members of the media. How the System Can Help Everyone The system will help both individuals and organizational leaders in a variety of ways, including: 1) improving relationships with others 2) setting goals and making decisions 3) resolving conflicts 4) choosing to be more ethical in relationships, goal-setting, decision-making and finding solutions to problems. 5) better understanding different social groups and organizational cultures 6) making better choices in deciding on a career or company to join 7) and in many other situations.
